Choose a planning style
These are planning estimates, not performance guarantees. Adjust the splits to match your strengths, course and current fitness.
Adjust your plan
Lock a split you already know. When at least one sport is locked, use Rebalance unlocked to fit the remaining sports to your target.
How to predict or plan your triathlon finish time
Use Predict Finish Time to calculate forward from race-day pace, or Plan a Goal Time to work backward from a target finish. Both modes include swim, bike, run and transition time.
Predict from sustainable race pace
Enter the pace or speed you realistically expect to sustain during the complete event rather than your absolute best standalone performance.
Plan backward from a finish goal
In Goal Time mode, your target is split across swim, bike and run after T1 and T2 are removed. Edit or lock splits to test different race plans.
Treat every result as a planning target
Wind, terrain, heat, open-water conditions, nutrition, congestion and fatigue can all move your actual result away from the calculated estimate.
